The Itos Token plays a crucial role in onboarding new assets and changing risk parameters.

• Holding tokens for a long, continuous period of time strengthens your governance voting power

• When voting to onboard a new asset type, the voters for the asset must stake their ITOS tokens as a backstop for any risks introduced. In return, they get early access to the new asset and get a majority revenue share from protocol profits from the new asset.

• They get revenue shares from protocol generated fees.
